WISC’s Sales Department has an immediate opening for a Digital Sales Manager. The Digital Sales Manager will lead the station’s efforts in the development of new and incremental digital business utilizing the best-in-class digital product suite from Phase 3 Digital and Channel3000.com; reduce digital churn; oversee the station’s digital fulfillment team while coaching, training, mentoring and leading a group of local Account Executives.
The DSM will work with Phase3 Digital Inside support team, and the WISC Director of Sales to provide a unified approach to client solutions, including digital assets. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a consistent and successful track record of leadership in delivering strong sales results.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and executes sales strategies that result in exceeding revenue targets in digital and new product revenue.
- Drive new business development
- Collaborate with Account Executives to create multi-platform advertising solutions for all clients.
- Be an effective educator and ambassador, both internally and externally, on the benefits of digital marketing for clients
- Own some key accounts
- Manage inventory and revenue forecasting
- Participate in the recruitment and development of sales professionals
- Oversee accounts receivable and commissions for digital advertising
- Join Account Executives on three-legged calls
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Minimum three years experience in sales, preferably in the digital field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience guiding, directing, and motivating others, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
- Knowledge of prevailing digital technologies such as Google Analytics, OTT, ad tagging, SEM/SEO, social media, and geographical and contextual targeting.
- Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor, and help them increase their skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-up, resourceful, and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with multiple pending deadlines
