WKBT, the number one station in La Crosse/Eau Claire, Wisconsin (DMA 129) is seeking a full-time Master Control Operator/Director. This position involves operating a high-end, video production switcher during live newscasts as well as monitoring on-air signals, maintaining transmitter and FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercials. This is a critical role in the control room and requires high attention to detail and excellent communication skills in a high-pressure environment. Experience with Ross Overdrive, Adobe Photoshop, Avid Media Composer, and Avid iNews is preferred.
Expectations:
- Experience with live video production.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be a strong communicator.
- Available to work varying shifts.
