KOAM TV is in search of a Meteorologist to join our award-winning staff in Joplin, MO/Pittsburg, KS. A trusted partner within the Four State Area (where Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma touch), KOAM is a vital resource for the community it serves. The meteorologist will work with the KOAM Sky Watch Weather Team to deliver accurate forecasts and inform our viewers of how the weather story impacts them. Joplin/Pittsburg is a busy weather market, ranked as one of the top 5 severe weather markets in the country. Your focus will be on weather, as it often leads our newscasts.

Candidates should have a degree in meteorology and a passion for severe weather.
