About this opportunity:

We are looking for a solid on-air talent to co-host a morning news show as well along with voice-tracking a music station(s). In addition to time spent in the studio, you will be out in the community at events and client remotes meeting our amazing listeners which can take place outside of your normal workday.  If you can demonstrate superior on-air, social media/digital content, and production skills, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• Co-host a morning news program
• Voice-track a music station (s)
• Spend time each day doing daily show prep
• Entertain and inform the listener audience both on the air, via digital content, and social media outlets
• Publish a minimum of original local blogs daily on the station website and mobile app
• Write Facebook posts along with other social media platforms
• Conduct on-air interviews, attend, and assist in all market cluster live events
• Produce commercials daily
• Conduct live remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities
• Consistently and accurately enter listener information into vPromotions

What you’ll bring:

• On-air experience
• Ability to operate radio/audio board
• Knowledge of applicable FCC rules and regulations
• Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Production experience, with full knowledge of digital editing
• Ability to write and post website content to all digital platforms
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with Scott Studios, Adobe Audition, VoxPro (G-Selector and vPromotions a plus)
