We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time video editors to be part of the WISC/News 3 NOW newsroom. You’ll join a top-notch team dedicated to the success of WISC’s programming which includes WISC and TVW.

What you’ll do: 

• Use a non-linear editing program to edit video for daily newscasts.
• Work collaboratively with newscast producers to create and execute creative visions for showcasing video and interviews.
• Use creative graphic and production techniques to enhance video and audio storytelling
• Occasionally shoot video and interviews as a photographer.
• Occasionally run a studio camera as part of a floor crew
• Other duties as assigned 

What you’ll bring: 

• A positive attitude, open mind, and a passion for great journalism
• Experience with a non-linear editing program is a must
• Experience with news content and show editing is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently, but with an eye for detail
• The right candidate will have a strong sense of creativity, and an eye for great video
• Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and possibly overtime hours.
