Sales Coordinator
February 3, 2026Morgan Murphy Media, a multimedia company with broadcasting, digital media, and event brands across multiple markets, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radio Traffic Coordinator. This position plays a critical role in revenue execution by ensuring commercial inventory is scheduled accurately, advertiser commitments are fulfilled, and station logs comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The Radio Traffic Coordinator manages the daily scheduling of commercial advertisements, ensuring spots air at the correct times while maximizing available inventory and revenue. This role works closely with Sales, Programming, Production, and Management to manage deadlines, last-minute changes, and accurate documentation.
This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven administrative role that requires precision, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Position Responsibilities
- Input and schedule commercial orders into the station’s traffic system in accordance with advertiser contracts
- Create and maintain daily broadcast logs
- Reconcile logs after airtime to verify commercials aired correctly
- Resolve discrepancies and coordinate make-goods when necessary
- Monitor and manage spot inventory to optimize revenue opportunities
- Coordinate schedule adjustments with Sales, Programming, and Production
- Maintain accurate records for billing and reporting purposes
- Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and company policies
- Communicate clearly with internal departments to manage content deadlines and changes
- Utilize traffic software such as WideOrbit
- Primary back up to the Traffic Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage precise timing and complex schedules
- Technical proficiency with database systems and traffic software
- Experience with WideOrbit, Marketron, or similar broadcast systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve scheduling conflicts
- Professionalism and reliability
- Prior experience in broadcasting, media, advertising, or administrative operations preferred (entry-level candidates with strong administrative backgrounds may be considered)
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $19.00/hour – $22.00/hour DOE
