In 1974, four Air Force veteran broadcasters who served together in Europe built WBKB-TV. In doing so we launched the first and only local television service in Northeast Michigan. Our communities have come to rely on WBKB-TV and its digital platforms for timely local news coverage that matters to them, timely weather forecasts focused on the northeast and local sports up-close. Fifty years later, WBKB-TV’s tradition as a vital community resource is growing.
